Sauces & Marinades is an experimental film recorded and projected on an oscillating fan. By working with the constant rotation of a banal fan, the recorded video expands upon the traditional notion of a flat screen by enveloping viewers in 270 degrees of cinematic experience. Dependent on the mechanical movement to reveal and conceal what’s on the other side of the screen, viewers are left at the mercy of the fan's rotation to realize the events unfolding just beyond their vision.
