Fish Move in Three Dimensions is a multichannel installation of sledding home videos projected onto the ceilings of a stairwell. The installation disrupts the mundane activity of walking down a stairwell by making people aware of their vertical transformation with melancholic found footage. Participants see people descending down a hill and they too are suddenly aware of their physical descent; they’re moving in three dimensions.
